Tremolo Bridge Routings

6-Hole Vintage Tremolo:
Mounting screw hole diameters 1/8"

American Standard Fender tremolo:
Drilled for .375" diameter insert

*Not Available on Tele® Deluxe!

Wilkinson tremolo (by Gotoh):
Drilled for .382" diameter insert

*Not Available on Tele® Deluxe!

Floyd Rose tremolo:
Drilled for .390" diameter insert. This non-recessed configuration generally requires the neck pocket to be angled.

Kahler Flat Mount tremolo:
No mounting holes drilled

Recessed Tremolo Bridge Routings
Recessing the bridge allows it to be mounted low in the face of the guitar and allows you to pull up on the bar to raise the pitch.

Gibson® Type Bridge Mounting
These bridges require 1.5 - 2 degree angled neck pocket

Gotoh brand Stop & Tuno: Drilled .430" to match these bushings. Notice that the bass side of the tunomatic is pulled back to accommodate intonation setting.

Gotoh 510 combination Stop & Tuno bushing hole diameter .421"

Schaller 456 fine tuning bridge: Bushing hole diameter .421"

Recessed Tune-O-Matic with
String-Through Mounting

On flat-top bodies only we offer a recessed rout for our Gotoh Tune-O-Matic or TonePros Tune-O-Matic with a choice of 3 string-through patterns for $15. The strings go through our top-string-through ferrules and anchor in our standard guitar string ferrules in the back of the body.

Due to the recess, no neck pocket angle is required with this setup.

Flat Mount/Hardtail Bridge mounting
(Ground wire holes drilled to all Strat® hardtail bridges) The back side of these "vintage bridge" bodies are drilled 5/16" for the string anchor ferrules

Vintage Style Strat®

Narrow Spaced Strat®
flat mount bridge. Mounting holes are identical to the vintage bridge, but the string through holes are larger

String through holes only.
For other odd hardtail bridges the string holes are in the standard position. By aligning on these, you may drill mounting holes to mate with your bridge.

Vintage Tele®
This pattern matches the vintage "ash tray" bridge as well as our current Gotoh brand replacements (both standard and humbucking versions).
