4-String Precision/Jazz Bass® Neck Pocket Specs

This is the standard precision and Jass Bass neck pocket. P and J necks are interchangeable in the same neck pocket.

The exceptions are:

Tele® head Fender necks usually have squared heels, Warmoth offers no bodies to fit these necks.
J bass Deluxe®, P Bass Deluxe®, P Bass® Special, and the"Lyte" series necks all feature 22 frets and are incompatible with Warmoth bass bodies.

Necks With Extended Fingerboards

This is the standard Warmoth bass neck configuration.

24 Fret Extension

Available by special order. $25.00 extra cost.

Each of these necks fit the standard Fender bass without any modifications. The fingerboard simply extends beyond the end of the neck, over the pickguard.

Deluxe 5 Series Neck Pocket Specs

This newer Fender design is in metric dimensions. Please note that early Deluxe necks have smaller heels (also have top adjusting truss rods) Warmoth only offers bodies to the later specifications (also matching the replacement necks we offer.)

Deluxe 5 Neck with extended 24 fret fingerboard

Available by special order. $25.00 extra cost.
