This set is wound with 42 SPN and has 5% more turns than the Vintage Hot. This makes it a 5% stronger pickup. It will have 5% more mids and 5% less high end. It is ideal for a stock sound with just enough thickness for single note soloing.

Amazing. Tone for days. Just slighly overwound, I can't imagine needing any of the highs you lose with an overwound PUP. Sound amazing in every position. The Hybrid Stagger means this set is for use on flatter radius necks. I have another Strat with Fender's 57/62 set, and it ain't even close. Fralins win, hands down. My Strat with the Fralins is a Warmoth body and neck (maple fingerboard), with a Callaham bridge. Amazing.
