John Carey

"As a working musician in the New York City music scene, having the right instrument on hand is an absolute must. Specifically, I need a bass that sounds fat, plays effortlessly and looks cool. Additionally, I need the neck to be very stable so that it stays in tune under all conditions and has absolutely no dead spots. I've played just about every type of bass available and that's why I opt for playing Warmoth basses in all environments. Also, being able to hand pick the body and neck for each build is a lot of fun. It makes me feel like I have a real connection with my instrument."
