Schaller was the world's first manufacturer to develop the locking tuner and had it patented more than 20 years ago. These mini M6 locking tuners are well known as precise and durable. The thumb screw on the back drives a pin up into the string hole providing a positive lock on the string and eliminating slippage. There is no need for the standard multiple string windings around the post, so you get better tuning accuracy especially when using tremolo equipped guitars.
- 16:1 gear ratio.
- Weight per tuner: 1.73 oz. (49 grams).
