This pickup set provides a modern, broad tonal response, but without the brittleness found in other active pickups. Compared to the Lightnin’ Rods, the tone is more modern with sharper attack and more punch in the bass response.
Battery life is approximately 1,000 continuous hours per set. these pickups are often used together with STC-2 or -3 Tone Circuits for optimal tonal control.
