I then painted it with the Eddie like strips not a replica of his but they do have many similarities. Then I put the Paul Gilberts in and decided to throw in a cheap sx humbucker i had lying around, I then did the inlays which are lighter burns with a nitro finish over the fretboard, then added reflectors and a kill switch and blocked-off the bridge, and put some flashing LEDs in the pickup cavitys then beat up the finish a little bit for a more raw feel and for a little Jimi flair, I added a braided string to the headstock jose antonio noriega
strat signature Hank marvin con neck Warmoth berseys mapel AAA Anthony Farrish
This is my first Warmoth. One Piece Mahogany w/ Quilted Maple Dragon Burst top Black Back Strat® style body, Tummy, Forearm, Heel Contours, Chrome Schaller Floyd and Chrome Hardware. Standard Thin Neck in Maple w/ Ebony Fretboard and 24 Stainless Jumbo Frets w/ Abalone Dot Inlays. Bill Lawrence L 500 XL and Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates! This thing BURNS!!! John Leek
This is my first attempt at building a guitar. Not sure if I can name names here so I wont. Probably don't need to explain what I was trying to achieve here anyway. The body is Ash and I bought it unfinished. I had to slightly modify the bridge routing a little to angle the pickup, which is mounted directly to the body, then I custom painted it myself using lacquer paint from the hardware store. It has a chrome vintage 6 hole tremolo and a custom pickguard that I bought blank and then routed holes for just the bridge pickup and one volume control. It has a Golden Age pickup that is wax potted and wound to 9k ohms and custom fitted with an Alnico 2 magnet. The neck and fretboard are unfinished Birdseye maple with black dot inlays, stainless steel frets, graphite nut (I know it's supposed to be brass but I was hoping to reduce tuning headaches, and it does), and chrome schaller mini tuners. I oil the neck regularly with mineral oil, so far so good. It's smooth, fast and I have to say this is my favorite sounding guitar and it's my cheapest by far. bernardo rodriguez
My version of a Custom Strat® style guitar; light swamp ash body, AAAA Flame maple neck, with Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, Mother of Pearl dot fret markers, Fralin neck & middle pickups, DiMarzio Air Norton bridge humbucking, locking tuners, & 7 position wiring. Bernardo Rodriguez
My version of a custom Strat® style guitar. Warmoth Pro flame maple neck, boat neck profile, jumbo frets and Brazilian rosewood fret board, with locking tuners. The body is swamp ash finished in butterscotch, Fralin neck & middle pickups with an Air Norton DiMarzio in the bridge position. AMAZING! This guitar has all the tone you need for a lifetime! Ade Daff
Mahogany body with a Burl Maple top. Birdseye Maple neck and fingerboard. Dimarzio Tone Zone, Chopper and Air Norton pickups all coil-tapped via mini switch. Schaller Trem. All gold hardware. Low action, plays like a dream and sounds awesome. frank verrilli
Here is one of my hand carved models (jimi would have liked this one). "SUNSCAPE"... It is a one piece light weight alder body, shallow relief carving, custom antique finish, solid black walnut guard, chrome vol./tone knobs,(like on most of my guitars) I use Fralin pickups. It has a solid maple neck with nitro finish, and locking vintage kluson style tuners. NOTE: the turned ebony trem arm tip and this one has a push pull pot that activates the EMG afterburner. I wouldn't dare route on the back for the battery, and didn't want it too unaccessable under the guard, SO I carved just a little more room under the jack plate for the battery. WARNING: this is a little tricky to do without messing up your guitar, so be careful. Anyway THANKS to Warmoth for showing photo's of their guitars and giving the weights of the guitars they sell before you buy. For more great detail shots and other guitars go to FVcustomguitars.com
THANKS Frank Verrilli Dan Hall
The goal was a Strat® style guitar with a Gibson'ish sound, tones, etc. So, the body and neck are both mahogany, the pups are Gibson 490R/498T, three-way switch set up like a Tele® with 2 volume pots and one tone pot. The neck wasn't ordered with the milling for a locking nut, but the body was (mid-stream design change!) so we had to get the neck milled. The Original Floyd Rose works great. My son picked the components and colors, and we built it together. Of course I'm biased, but I think it looks really nice. Warmoth did the body finish and we did the neck with Tru-Oil. I REALLY like the way the neck came out. That's about it! G. Ian Dow
Billy Corgan Replica

Body:1-piece Alder, Chambered, Maple top
Neck: Maple w/ Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard
Bridge: Fender Hardtail
Pickups: Dimarzio BC-1(neck), Dimarzio Chopper(middle), Dimarzio BC-2(bridge)

Here is my Billy Corgan replica. I wanted a real one but didn't want to pay $1400 for it. So, I built this Warmoth. And $1500 bucks later, I saved a bundle!!!!lol Well, it's alright cause this guitar rocks! It sounds just like the real one but looks cooler and is nicer. If you want to send me a fawning e-mail you may: hydrationlevel4@hotmail.com Greg Koher
A home-made Fankenstrat Guitar I made from an Ash Stratocaster® style body and a Maple KWS neck. It has chrome hardware, an original Floyd Rose Tremolo, a Seymour Duncan SH-5 humbucker, and Schaller tuners. The paint job may not be exact, but I love this guitar. Warmoth does amazing work. Greg Stringer
My first Warmoth build. Poplar Strat® style guitar body with Explorer birdseye maple neck and rosewood fingerboard; Seymour Duncan JB Jr. in the bridge and Hot Rails in neck and middle; Schaller mini-locking tuners; Schaller Floyd Rose tremolo with lock nut; painted Porsche red. All parts purchased from Warmoth. Everyone who has played it comments on how nice the Warmoth neck is. Jonathan Davison
This is my awesome Swamp Ash with Tiger Eye High Grade Quilted Maple Top Strat&reg style guitar. It has a solid Ebony neck with gold frets and a Tusq XL nut. Gold sperzels and a Wilkinson VS401 Trem system. Seymour Duncan APS-1 single coils and an IronGear Jailhouse Rails humbucker running through 250k CTS pots.

This is an awesome guitar and after some trepidation regarding the neck wood, i found that everyone who was casting aspersions on the all ebony choice was talking from no experience as it is phenomenal. It is weighty, which gives the Strat® style guitar a more solid, expensive feel. Feels like butter to touch, the Warmoth fret work being amazing custom shop quality. The Irongear pickup is brilliant for a third of the price of a mainstream brand. All in all a sustaining, toneful, bright and glassy Strat® style guitar that can rock with fantastic tuning. Well done Warmoth, I'll be back! Ely Joseph
A Strat® style guitar I built for my Friend/client,

DiMarzio Virtual Solo (bridge) and Fender Hot Noiseless pickups. Mike Stoliker
Strat® style guitar that I did for a friend of mine. He had it laying around and it was a rather beat up sunburst color, so I re-did it in graffiti yellow and topped it of with a smoke finish. Gold Fender Elite tuners. Guitar was setup by Luthier Erik Anderson of Sky Guitars in Denton, Texas Wayne Powell
This guitar is a copy of Clapton's guitar that was used on the George Harrison memorial concert and the John Mayall 70th birthday concert. The design was painted by a friend and I painted the clear over it and assembled it. The guitar body is a Warmoth Alder 2 piece body with an original Clapton Fender neck on it, which I borrowed off my Clapton Strat®. It has Lace sensor pups with Clapton preamp installed. The guitar has great tone and sustain. Thanks again to the guys at Warmoth for a great product. Cullen Chen
This is my very first build. It features a swamp ash body and a very nice quilted maple top, considering that it isn't a "high grade" top. The neck is made of raw Goncalo. Fingerboard is ebony with huge stainless steel 6100 frets. Tuners are Sperzel locking tuners, while the bridge is a very nice GFS 2-point hardened steel tremolo (with full sized steel block and stainless steel saddles). The guitar is finished beautifully in Brown Dye and is topped off with immaculate drop top natural masked binding. All hardware is gold to wrap things up. Pickups are a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in the bridge, a DiMarzio Area '61 in the middle, and a DiMarzio Area '58 in the neck. My goal for this guitar was to achieve both the sounds of a Les Paul and a Stratocaster® style guitar, but with the beauty of a PRS, and I think I've achieved that goal. Thank you Warmoth for such a beautiful sounding and looking instrument.

Rick Wilson
Chambered mahogany with quilt top. Black dye. Bridge is hand carved ebony. One vol/tone knob, stock Gibson P-90. For smooth jazz; ebony bridge makes warmer and softer attack, tone wise. But it can scream too, when I push my Dr.Z!!

Rick Wilson
Chambered white korina with figured black korina top. Neck is vintage gloss white korina w/ebony. Pick-ups are stock Gibson mini's with Fralin SP-43 strat in middle. No pick-up selector switch, just 3 vol/tone knobs. Use for smooth jazz.

Works great for Metallica and Iron Maiden songs. Very lightweight body. Great job Warmoth! Soon I will buy another from you guys! Joe Interlande
A Desert sun 28" scale. It sounds amazing! It is mahogany back wood. It has no neck markers and is maple with ebony. A great combination for a "piano like tone". The pickups are Dimarzios. It stays dead in tune thanks to the perfect pre-installed corian nut! I installed a super 5 way to get the most out of the guitar. So far I have enjoyed 13 Warmoth guitars and this is one of my favorites. Such a great way to express yourself and spending time on the Warmoth site building and trying new things. Its hard to screw up with the best bodies and necks made. Joe Interlande
A candy flake orange 25" scale. It sounds amazing! It is mahogany body. It has a maple and rosewood neck. Had to set it up right away: Rio Grande BBQ bridge,Duesenberg Little Toaster middle, DiMarzio PAF (´76!) neck; Sperzel locking tuners; neck was a leftover from a Line6 guitar (that I did with one of your bodies , right when you started to offer this option....;-) I had a little Hula girl inlaid in the headstock... ;-)
Thanks a lot for one more beautiful guitar!

"I wanted a cross between a 59 Les Paul and a '57 Strat® style guitar, pure vintage tones, great playability, planned it to the smallest detail, I wouldn't change anything" Guglielmo Franco
This is THE BEAST! It has to be the meatiest, most muscular sounding guitar I've ever played. No finish on her except some tung oil to keep the pores sealed. She just loves to vibrate musically!

I had to quickly build her for a gig over seas where I wanted a guitar that would be checked and I wouldn't be heart-broken if baggage handlers destroyed her (that sentiment has changed, let me tell you!). I called you guys and ordered the body and neck from the your special deals - I believe they cost $250 for both (HUGE bargain!).

I got all the hardware from you as well - original Floyd, gotoh tuners, pickguard, knobs, CTS & Switchcraft switches and pots. She's loaded with DiMarzio ups.

Thanks again, Warmoth! You folks never disappoint. This one goes to show that even though Warmoth may be blowing out a couple pieces, it doesn't mean we're not still getting a phenomenally musical guitar.

Peace. Guglielmo Franco
Everyone calls this one "Miss Pretty" - and she is. While refurbing my main baby, I needed something that was a real guitar, and I turned of course to Warmoth. With a great deal of help & advice from all of you, I got the following:

*Chambered Mahogany body w/ 5A quilted top dyed blue
*Wenge neck w/Ebony board (no dots - students HATE that - LOL)
*locking Schaller tuners (gold)
*Wilkinson vibrato (gold)
*old Fender roller nut (from someone's unfortunate Jeff Beck Strat)
*DiMarzio pups

She has a very unique sound, and its a fantastic one. Thanks again for everything you folks do to get real guitars into our hands! Guglielmo Franco
This is my baby - played on every gig for 24 years! My first Warmoth project. The body is a very light Swamp Ash that I bought from a friend for $30 in 1985. After many years and gigs it's been determined that it may be from the days when Ken & Wayne Charvel did some work together - I'm definitely the lucky guy!

The neck is all maple that I traded for (I had a previous Warmoth neck - nothing beats your stability guys!). The neck was a little fat for me so I shaped it myself and it fits me perfectly.

All chrome hardware: Schaller minis, original floyd from 1984 (with an updated arm), Duncan pups.

The guitar was refurbished 2 years ago after so much use. I refinished her, and kept the Italian theme (my friends dubbed her the Dagocaster and it stuck). I have the flag for the region of Campagna, Italy where my father and I are from, and the back is the national Italian flag.

Thanks for all the fantastic memories I've had with this thing! If you folks hadn't made 'em, and wouldn't be lucky enough to play 'em! Lew Petryk
Warmoth body, quilt maple on swamp ash, natural masked, black dye finish with black gloss back finish, and contoured heel. Warmoth pro Strat® style neck, birdseye maple/birdseye maple, black face dots inlays, Graph Tech 1 11/16" nut, 10-16" compound radius, standard thin contour, SS6105 frets and Schaller mini locking tuners. Warmoth 0.09" black solid gloss pickguard. Callaham converted American Deluxe bridge Callaham block and vintage styled "CG" saddles and super short Gilmour style length 4 1/8" tremolo arm. 3 Vintage Noiseless Strat® pickups with TBX tone control and Master Active Mid Boost (Clapton setup). Sounds GREAT!!! Phil Jelks
This looks like a normal Strat® style guitar except for the two humbuckers. They are Lace dually's, Gold/Gold neck, Red/Red bridge. Both are tapped for single coil as well as humbucker. I also had a six position varitone put in as well. I'm a tone freak. My tech, that did the wiring, says it's the first Strat® style instrument he has ever heard sound like a Strat®, Tele®, Gretsch, Les Paul, 335, Jaguar and several other guitars. Neck is maple with Zircote finger board. The body is Quilt maple over Swamp Ash. Every time I open the case, people are picking their jaws up from the ground, the axe is so awesome. I even had requests from folks to build one for them. Thanks to the Warmoth guys, they make the most incredible product ever. A factory custom job like this quoted from a major manufacturer was two year waiting period and about $5000.00. This was one fifth! Thanks Warmoth!!! You rock!! Cody Harvath
Chambered Swamp Ash body, Quilted Maple top, AAA Birdseye Maple neck, Tiger's eye finish. Nice light weight player!Fralin singles and a Tone Zone make for my preferred combination!! Adam Johnson
This is my third Warmoth guitar, but this Tiger is my first project where I did the paint, wiring and assembly from start to finish. The poplar Strat® style body came out of the in stock Showcase and I used an existing maple/ebony Warmoth neck that I had on hand. The Duncan SH-12 Screamin' Demon humbucker and fixed bridge make for a great rock and metal combo that also give me alot of variety in tone choices. willie vega
My Warmoth Strat® style. This guitar sounds and plays Amazing. Carlos Lorenzo
A "hybrid" body that Warmoth very kindly custom made to my specs, with no forearm contour,no jack rout and T-bridge / pickup rout. Trans blue on swamp ash looks amazing. That's not its neck, it's an LP-type I installed just to try it, I'm making one from scratch using a Warmoth blank and fingerboard. Still in the works. Yes, it will have dots, of course! steven demeola
15+ yr old swamp ash Warmoth body re-finished by yours truly (red mahogany stain, satin polyurethane). Vintage rosewood/maple neck (stained front side, same as body), Seymour Duncan mini-humbuckers (SM-1N, SM3-B). All electronics, pickguard, tremolo cover, and knobs from Warmoth. Bridge vol is a push-push set up for coil splitting. All wiring done myself. Older Schecter tremolo and locking tuners. Tim Bucher
Here's my latest project completion. A simply spectacular Warmoth Strat® Style alder body topped with one of the nicest figured spalt maple tops I have ever seen. I think I can safely call this top an 11! Neck is a Fender American Deluxe, black headstock and LSR roller nut. Pups are Duncan, and the big surprise here, a Graphtech Ghost System Hexpander with 13 pin out for midi/synth applications. Controls are volume, tone is supplied from an EMG EXG circuit, and bottom tone knob is actually the Hexpander volume out. Black switch is coil tap, and other two switches are for the Hexpander, one for choosing synth, mag pups, or both, and a momentary for moving between patches of the synth. This by far has been my most gratifying build... you could say I'm as happy as a pig in, well, you know what. Thanks Warmoth for such outstanding quality. Andy McCrory
This was my first Warmoth build. The graphic was designed in Photoshop and printed at a local vehicle graphic shop. It was printed on a vinyl 3M sticker and laminated. The body has a full wrap (front and back) Applied 13 acrylic lacquer coats to finish off.

My Frankenstein Baritone.
Body is made from an old charvel that i smashed when i was a teenager, sanded down and dyed purple, with a clear satin nitro finish.
Neck is a Warmoth neck, made of purpleheart, with an ebony fretboard, abalone inlays, and a white corian nut. the tuners i cant remember what they are.
The pickguard was made by myself from purpleheart wood, and all pickups can be turned on or off with a toggle switch, for any variation desired. Humbucker Pickups are Lace drop and gain pickups. Middle single coil was whatever the charvel had, with a new 'chrome' cover. Each humbucker has a 3 way selector toggle for coil spliting, too. pots are 1meg pots from torres engineering.

You can hear this guitar, currently on two newer songs of mine called "Aerobicide" and "Goodbye Horsesque" which can be found through my website @ Genxide.com James Foote
This is my Gold Flake, early 60’s inspired, guitar. This is a Showcase 2 piece ash body, and extreme birdseye maple neck.3 coats of black grain filler was used. Then sprayed with Guitar ReRanch Orange, and about 12 coats of clear nitro. It's got a Wilkinson vibrato and a Dimarzio Fred in the bridge, Seymour Duncan '57 junior in the middle and a Gibson '57 classic at the neck (flipped ala Peter Green). It's a very resonant and non-stratty sounding Strat® style guitar. It's warm and creamy and never shrill. Wayne Langford
This is actually a very old build. It's been my main live guitar for the last fifteen years. It's a swamp ash/maple body with a birdseye maple/ebony neck. (Don't tell Warmoth but I steel wooled the finish off the back of the neck over ten years ago.) It's outfitted with a Floyd Rose and EMGs. This neck is on its second set of frets. The next time I'm going with stainless steel frets. Justin Kelly
AAA Birdseye Maple neck, Pau Ferro fretboard, Stainless frets, Mahogany body with flame maple top. Fender American Standard tremelo, Schaller locking tuners, EMG AlNiCo electronics. John Roberts
Warmoth ash body with maple top. Warmoth neck with satin finish, Schaller locking tuners, Original Floyd Rose tremelo, Duncan '78 pickup. Graeme Matthews
One piece alder body finished with 6 coats of Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil and then rubbed back with B.Casey Stock Sheen and Conditioner (really great satin silky feel) Matt Nitro on the neck, stainless steel frets and Iron Gear Rolling Mill humbuckers. This is my first Warmoth build and I am so happy with everything about it. Explorer next I think. Outstanding effort Warmoth - Thanks. Eric Townsend
Bought used in '83, an Ibanez '71 ('72?) slab-body protoype for their Roadstar 1 -- my first guitar -- played the heck out of it on and off for 20 years until the neck and frets gave out and I'd shifted to liking a slightly wider nut. I probably should've left it stock, but had a make-over planned for my first baby...fully re-sculpted, rebuilt, customized -- and 'given back' to Fender (dig the P-Bassish swoop to the pickguard).

SPECS: Bare Knuckle UK "Mule" Humbuckers, Fender Deluxe Hardtail w/Graphtech saddles / Planet Waves locking tuners (a matching black&chrome theme) / Schaller locking strap-pegs.

I stripped the opaque brown stain to reveal the goldish Philippine Mahogany body and I hand-sculpted a soft jewel-cut that fades into a soft PRS-ish bubble then back into a jewel-cut, and did a sexy tummy contour. I used Wipe-On Poly and molested it until it was NEAR FACTORY GLASS perfect. I steel-wooled the neck to a buttery satin. Feels like buttah...

Warmoth made the whole thing SICK by selling me the greatest neck, a Mahogany/ebony Standard Thin with clay markers and Med/Jumbo frets. At first glance, I thought would be too slim, but once completed -- I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The photos don't do it justice, it's such a joy to hold and play – like a bluesy workhorse with serious class. Like a Chocolate Caramel Drop.

COOL BUILD NOTE: The Ibanez neck pocket was a little deeper than a Strat, so the fret board sits nearly on the deck like a Parker Fly, and it easily set up like the slinkiest Fretless Wonder action ever with zero buzz at all -- I actually had to raise the action a tad so I could dig in like I'm used to, but I kept it lower than my Am Dlx Strat, just for a different feel. I feel like it's like a model that Fender never made but should've. I love it! Jazzy and Shreddy at the same time.

Thank you Warmoth for the Greatest neck ever! Eddie Hoehn
Warmoth quilted/birdseye (on horns) maple body, Warmoth highly figured maple neck, Gold vintage style klusen tuners, Gold vintage bridge, Warmoth pickguard, shielded electronics, Bare-knuckle pickups (mothers milk). Tony Colaneri
Here''s my latest Warmoth guitar I built. Acrylic swirl body top and headstock. You guys still offering acrylic swirl?

Call it the "Cryocaster." Designed it to look "cold," as all of the electronics, pickups, and strings on it have been cryogenically treated to improve the metals'' performance.

Great products!

Erik Wilson
Showcase body (Quilt Maple on Alder, Vintage Strat® Tremolo, Heel Contour, Blue Dye top with Black Gloss back finish) and a showcase Warmoth Pro Strat® style neck (birdseye maple(with nice flame too!) with Pau Ferro fingerboard, 1-11/16 in. Nut Width, FatBack Contour, 6150 Fret Wire). All gold hardware.

The pickups are GFS NeoVins (overwound).

My first build! Plays and sounds great!

-Erik Terry Hampton
Here's my baby. I started our to build a guitar from vintage parts and ended up building this... and I have never regretted it for a second!

Body and Neck. The body is Warmoth, from an online auction (it's how I found out about Warmoth in the first place). It's alder with a very thin walnut stain... she's absolutely gorgeous in person. The neck is a Vintage Modern with SRV contour. It's a very faint flame maple neck with a rosewood fret board.

Electronics are as authentic as I could get, Texas specials with no augmentation. Just good shielding and grounds.

She plays like a dream and I only expect her to get better with age.

Thanks Warmoth, it was a sincere pleasure doing business with you! Omar Sostre
Amazing Killer Camphorl Burl on Mahogany.High grade Birdseye Maple neck.Made with 100% Warmoth parts. This is my second dream guitar in two months.Killer sound and top quality service from Warmoth again!!! Thanks to Warmoth and SD for all their advice. This guitar is a tone monster, from sweet singin' to sreamin' rock, it's both warm and wild. Alex Adams
The body is a Warmoth Swamp Ash hardtail Strat® style guitar with the metallic blue flake finish. The neck is a 2008 Fender American 70's style maple neck. The humbucker is an EMG-81. Dan Lorey
This is by far my favorite Strat® style guitar. It has a one-piece solid Adler body, finished in 3 coats of "True Oil". Pickguard is "Ananconda" (snakeskin pattern). Tremolo is Wilkinson-Gotoh (very smooth). Electronics are: "Vintage Hot" (2% overwound) Lindy Fralin hand wound custom pickups (worth every penny!!!) I custom wired it with: volume, master tone and Lindy's "blender" pot in the third slot. It allows you to blend the bridge pickup with the neck pickup, or blend it with neck and middle. This gives you 7 positions (with those extra two combinations) but actually allows for all kinds of amazing tone tweaking that a toggle switch simply won't. The guitar is also equipped with the John Suhr "hum canceling" coil system. The neck is Birdseye Maple with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. It has the SRV cut and Jumbo (6100) stainless steel frets. Sperzel locking tuners on the headstock. This guitar has that beastly pure vintage Strat® style guitar tone, very close to SRV's "Number 1". Thanks to Warmoth and Lindy, this project has surpassed my wildest dreams. Thanks guys!!! David Andrews
Maple top with nice flame. Pau Ferro neck and fingerboard - very smooth, and beautiful to play. I decided to go for the gold frets to match the rest of the gold hardware. I was worried they may be a bit too much, but they turned out just right. Fitted with Fender Custom Shop '69 pickups in the neck and middle, with a Seymour Duncan SSL-5 in the bridge. A really great sounding guitar. Alawn Koh
Here's my second Warmoth build. Both body and neck are showcase pieces. Looks and sounds great! Thumbs up to the good folks at Warmoth!

This is my first experience with an unfinished neck. The tone of this guitar is very sweet and musical. The body has an interesting depth to it and the upper horn has some unique figure. I love it! Joseph Jones
Orange Crush
Amazing clarity, density, and bite...best sounding guitar I've ever played.
The quality of woods used was very impressive...the neck has an absolutely beautiful satin finish.

I recommend Warmoth to anyone in the market for a guitar. The craftsmanship is superb, and coupling that with the options to build your guitar exactly the way you want it is a win/win situation.
Christian Karl
Started as a restoration project but after receiving that great canary/ziricote neck I knew I had to build a total new one. So here it is:
chambered walnut on walnut body, canary/ziricote Warmoth pro Strat® style neck, Wilkinson trem, Schaller locking mechs, Seymoures SH4 and self-made single coils.
Sound is superb!!! Though the exotic wood sounds like a Strat® style guitar should! I really like that chambered body! I'm absolute convinced of the quality of Warmoth!
Mike Ronaldson
I worked at Warmoth for awhile and swear by their parts. I worked on the neck crew and the master craftsmen has been there along time and is at the top of his game. This is a lightweight alder body with birdseye maple neck and an awesome handpicked Brazilian rosewood board. All parts are from Warmoth. This guitar has the most amazing tone, I have been playing for 30 yrs and building for 7 and this guitar is insane. The trees used for this one were as good as they get. Thanks Kevin and Boun and all involved. Omar Sostre
Custom Strat® style guitar using 99.9% Warmoth parts.Burl maple on Alder/All Bocote neck. _______________________ Nick Brunner
I would like to thank the staff at Warmoth for all of their help! I got everything from Warmoth except for the pickups.

The body is from the showcase. It's specs are as follows:
Chambered mahogany back in candy tangerine
Quilted maple top in tequila sunrise
H-S-H pickup configuration
Schaller Floyd Rose trem
EMG 81-TW in the bridge, SA in the middle, and an 89 in the neck

And for the neck:
Bubinga with a pau ferro fret board
Stainless steel frets
Reverse Warmoth headstock
Locking Floyd nut and locking Schaller mini-tuners

It plays like a dream! Such bell-like tones when clean, and just a monster with some heavy distortion. I couldn't be happier! This will not be my last Warmoth project... Al Slamecka
My first Warmoth build... a showcase blue burst with natural binding flame maple/swamp ash Strat® style guitar body and showcase birdseye neck with Abalone dot inlays. Truly a tone machine with fantastic Seymour Duncan P-Rail humbuckers sandwiching a Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II single rail. Gotoh vintage tuners, Duncan straplock, and Wilkinson tremolo finish off a really nice package. I installed two SPDT switches per P-Rail which switch between the P-Rail P90 and single coil in both series and parallel configurations. The 5way switch is wired to select the humbuckers in series, parallel, out of phase, as well as individually. They are controlled by a master volume and tone control excellent knobs from Carvin and the lower volume control blends in the Alnico II single rail. This control also features the NTune on-board tuner. The variety of quality sounds is amazing.. and for good measure I installed Graphtech Piezo saddles and midi kit so the guitar is midi capable as well. It was a challenging project but well worth it. My next build will be a beautiful mahogany SG! Can't wait... Stephen Lawler
Surf Green Strat® Style Guitar with Slab Rosewod neck, Joe Barden's S-deluxe. Ganthet Beck
Alder body with quilt maple top with gold hardware and Seymour Duncan Pickups Mike Ronaldson
I worked at Warmoth for a couple of years and I swear by the craftsmanship and tone of these parts. This is a alder body finished in nitro. With a wild flame top. The neck is birdseye maple with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard that I made while I worked there on the neck crew. The tone is amazing and the neck fits perfect. I love this and plan on adding another to my Warmoth lineup. Todd Granacki
This is my second Warmoth project. I play in several cover bands and decided to construct one rugged, good sounding dependable guitar to cover all forms of music. Went with Strat® style guitar, installed single coil aperture sized Duncan humbuckers...59 neck, Duckbucker middle and JB bridge. Good pickups. Finished in oil because a working guitar gets beat up and with oil you just wipe oil over scratches...and good to go. Schaller made Floyd trem stays in perfect tune, QParts knobs with matching green Fender MOTO pickguard. All stainless steel screws no more rusty chrome screws. Big Dunlop frets. A heavy guitar compared to normal Strat® style guitar, sounds full, plays perfectly. I like the dark brown and green colors, pleasing to the eye. Setup by Grant Guitars in Fountain Valley. Veteran of many a show, never failed me. BTW: Warmoth staff excellent to work with. Ron Costa
This is my 2nd project. This guitar is one of the greatest playing and sounding guitars I have heard in a short time, LOL, even better then the first one. This guitar has an Alder body Flame Maple top, contoured heel, comfort contours. Warmoth Pro style standard thin Birdseye maple neck, highest level maple necks IMO, with custom head stock. This Guitar has a Floyd Rose Original tremolo, With Titanium String Lock Blocks!, 37mm Brass Sustain Block , Sperzel locking tuners and it has a Tremolo no system. One of the coolest things on this guitar is custom shop neck plates from my buddy DangerousR6. You can get them as well in the forums, here http://www.unofficialwarmoth.com/index.php?topic2754.0. The body, neck, and pickguard are from Warmoth. Easily the nicest Strat® style guitar I've ever played. Classic tone and super solid! Wayne Powell
This is the 4th guitar i have now built using all Warmoth products. Keep it up guys, great stuff. This Strat® Style Guitar is white with red and blue pearl over the top. The body is mahogany, the neck is birdseye maple, pickups are Lace Sensor with Clapton preamp and gold hardware. As you can see the pearl colors look great and changes depending on the angle of view. Has an awesome tone and thanks guys for giving me such a great neck and body to work with. Dan Lorey
This guitar has a Warmoth 2 piece walnut body. It has 2 coats of Benjamin Moore stain to pop the grain. I used no grain filler. Instead, I used 22 coats of nitro to allow the grain to really show its depth. It has DiMarzio Virtual Vintage pickups, Steinberger locking gearless tuners and a Wilkinson Gotoh tremolo. It has a Fender maple neck that has been refretted with stainless steel. The toggle switch near the volume knob allows for manual activation of the bridge pickup while in positions 5 and 4 on the 5 position switch. This can give you all 3 pickups together or bridge and neck together, for a total of 7 positions. The tone of this guitar is amazingly clean and warm. I always wanted a walnut Strat® style guitar. I have 4 Strat&reg style guitars, but this one is the prettiest of the bunch. Hitoshi Akiyama
Hello Warmoth,
This guitar's sound is so nice to play early Van Halen's tunes. Alistair Martin
Not an exact replica of a Gilmour but its got the vibe. Kinman Woodstock Plus pickups which are so good. I'm never buying any other brand. Its got the K9 harness so the neck pup can be used irrespective of the switch position.
Rest of the guitar is stock Warmoth including a lovely flame pro neck. Loving this one a lot. Jonathan Bozeman
Walnut semi-hollow body with f-hole, Birdseye maple neck with abalone inlays. The pickups are Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials. This guitar is awesome, thanks Warmoth Joe Dunegan
This was my first build. I was inspired by Reb Beach's Suhr guitar for it's beautiful wood grain. I always wanted a Strat® style guitar but instead of buying a generic Fender, I decided to build one according to my needs and specs. Keelan Taylor
Walnut body with heel contour. I put 2 coats of danish oil on it and four coats of williamsville wax on it, I then sanded it with about 1500 grit sandpaper, and then with a crocus cloth. The neck is Indian rosewood with SRV back contour, and the fretboard is Brazilian rosewood with jumbo frets and 9 1/2 radius. The neck has only one coat of wax on it. I didn't touch the fretboard. I then rubbed it with a very fine sandpaper with the grain, and then with a crocus cloth. It has schaller locking tuning pegs, and schaller strap locks. It also has a standard Fender trem, Fender Texas Custom special pickups, and nonlinear pots. It still needs a plate for the switch. I love this guitar! It has a warm dark tone, yet balanced tone. It's not too mellow. Warmoth really puts a lot of craftsmanship into their guitars. Better than what you would find at your average music store. This is my first build. Thanks Again George Adams
One piece Alder, walnut stain,'59 round back with rosewood fretboard,1 3/4 nut, stainless steel jumbo frets. Fender noiseless pups.Bought most of it through Warmoth and Tim of Guitar Castle here in Salem put it together for me.Had a little trouble getting the body and neck to fit but it turned out great and I'm really happy with it.Also have a '57 reissue with a 20 year old maple warmoth neck, another nice ax.
