Keith Thomson
May I present my first build, aka: "The Precious". Tobacco burst over swamp ash body; maple/rosewood fretless neck. Hipshot hardware: Ultralite tuners; Style-A "Fender-mount" bridge; stacked volume and single tone controls. Dimarzio pick-ups: vintage p-bass in the neck position, and an Ultra jazz at the bridge. Control plate from Scott Harris Guitars (I didn't want to cover this gorgeous finish with a pick guard!

It took 9 months to acquire all the parts... but it was worth the wait. She plays and sounds reeeeal sweet!

My thanks to the folks at Warmoth for producing such top-shelf products, and for being so helpful along the way! Garth Alin
My Triple-P Bass or "Zipper" Black Korina body Tele®-shaped with 3 Vintage Seymour Duncan Pickups. Warmoth neck with nice Ebony fretboard and the dots match the pickup covers. Inspired by Ace Frehley's Triple Humbucker Paul and Fender of course. Delivers familiar P-bass sounds with several other unique ones, can emulate Stingray and many other aggressive tones. Lots of treble and sustain from the bridge pickup and huge low end due to the Black Korina body. Andrea Angelillis
This is my first project Warmoth! The '51 Telecaster® Bass features an alder body with a birdseye maple neck and fingerboard.

Maple/maple neck with abalone dots and 13 degree LP headstock with flamed maple veneer, proudly displaying the Warmoth sticker. A great bass, but I sold it to some lucky guy on the net. I miss it very much!! I liked the classic look of the 51 P, but wanted J pickups. I am about to build one with a P and MM pickup, Mary K white with 51 P black guard and vintage tint neck. http://www.sali.com.au/Warmoth5StringBass33Scale179.jpg Derek Grant
My first Warmoth build and the result of buying and selling over 50 basses. The body is mahogany like my 30th anniversary Stingray and Thunderbird for growl The neck is wenge like my Warwick Thumb which makes it very quick and beautiful to look at. The ebony fretboard with no front dot markers is modeled after my Bass Collection SB565. The bass itself is the classic single coil P bass but with the contours of the '53 model for extra comfort. Everything else is gold, right down to the frets and strings. This bass is a contrast to my vintage '57 style Warmoth in that it is so clear and crisp with the same killer bottom end. Its heavy but its worth it for the tone i get from it. Derek Grant
This is my second Warmoth build. I wanted this one to be spec'ed exactly the same as a pre-facelift 1957 single coil precision. It features maple on maple neck with vintage satin finish. The body is swamp ash with the blonde finish. Tuners are Gotoh lightweight reverse action. I used the same Gotoh 201 bridge that I used on my first bass cunningly hidden under the bridge cover. Pickup is a Lollar vintage '51. The electronics are technically exact right down to the paperinoil cap. This bass gives the fattest, gnarliest bass sound I have ever heard. It is without a doubt the best bass I have ever played and required no set up apart from taking the varnish off the frets which took about 5 minutes. Build quality is fantastic. Already looking for my next build Jason murphy
The Knucklehead MM5F
The neck is maple with a pau ferro board, beautiful striping in the wood. The body is 3 piece alder, stained translucent red then clear coated. The hardware consists of 2 Basslines alnico musicman pickups, an Emg BTC 2 band eq, 3 way switch for pickup selection and separate coil cut switches, TK5 bridge, Bml light tuners. Thank you Warmoth for the excellent craftsmanship. Seref Gokhan Pekkaya
54'Warmoth neck & Body, Bass lines pickup,Leo Quan Badass II Bass bridge, Hipshot Machine heads,CTS Super pot for volume & CTS standard Tone Pot.
Fantastic tone and very comfortable to play. Tim Bucher
Here is my vision of neo/retro Sting style bass. Nice ash body capped with a select piece of flame maple, and finished with a nice tobacco burst. PJ pups are Bartolini feeding a Bartolini two band 3.3 A/P preamp, volume, blend, and treble/bass stack. Body is back routed to fit the preamp, and I made a custom cut on the top to fit the control plate. Neck is a very nice birdseye/birdseye, with of course a Tele headstock to fulfill that '55 P Bass vibe. Stay tuned, as I have a handful of other projects up my sleeve. Thanks Warmoth!! Fernando Riquelme
Finally, my dream comes true!!! a real lefty bass. Here in Chile it is very hard to find something for the left-handed.
Here is my Warmoth bass.
Hard ash pbass body with jazz bass maple neck.
It has a spb3 pbass basslines quarterpounds and a hot stack jazz bass in the bridge. A passive circuit.
I love this bass, the Warmoth guys did a great job,the quality of the wood is fantastic!!
Thanks a lot,
regards for all of warmoth family!! Tom Jordan
Here's my finished project.

This is a 78 Precision neck on a Warmoth P bass body. The finish is tung oil. The body is P/J routed and when this was photographed, I was still looking for a Bartolini J pickup for the Bridge to match the Neck Bartolini. I used my old Badass II bridge. This bass looks and plays great. The walnut has a great sound. Thanks Warmoth !! Glenn Gera
Antigua P Bass with a 78 fretless neck. Marciano Cantero
Swamp ash body painted by my friend Arturo Minjarez here in Sonora with only enough nitrocelullosic paint to protect the wood and all maple neck Tbass peghead expertly finished by Warmoth ,a beautiful pickguard ,the Lindy Fralin pickup, the knobs, and pots all came from Warmoth. I added the Badass III bridge and the Hipshot ultralight tuners and the result is amazing ! I love the tone and playability of this bass, in fact right now it's the one that I'm playing at shows with my band Los Enanitos Verdes!

Thanks !!
The body finish is sandedin Danish Oil, which makes the beautiful wood show so nice and verry smoooth to the touch...
Being my first I was a bit worried about the setup etc. but it all fitted nicely and turned out real nice and easy. This bass sounds great! This means my American Fender Jazz Bass is no longer my favorite. Well done Warmoth! Ingolf Berber
THE SPECIAL P!
Body: Swamp Ash Stained-Oil-Wax Finish
Neck: Wenge/Ebony Stainless steel frets 6105
Hardware: Schaller Tuners/Gotoh Bridge black
PU´s: Lindy Fralin J-Bass Pickups Incredible sound!
Poti: Balance only direct to output Kiriakos Kalpakidis
Originally wanting to replicate my Uncles 72 P with T neck, I strayed far from the path after discovering a gorgeous P neck with a beautiful rosewood fretboard. I tried to find the lightest alder body possible, still not as light as my uncles, but I just pawn that off on the 36 years his has had time to dry out :p. I decided to try to keep the hardware as close to the original as possible, down to the Leo Quan BadAss II bridge, excepting it's all black. While his is at this point a naked finish, I decided to go for something that was a little more my speed.
I went with the Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups, and ended up with a set that measure out identically to my uncles... It's equally as wonderful to play in my opinion but equally mine, and I couldn't be happier with it.
Thanks Warmoth... maybe Fender will ask you guys to start making parts for their guitars some day, and start producing high quality instruments like they used to. Ray Scannapieco
62 Precision Bass

Here is another bass that I built utilizing Warmoth components. This one started with a Warmoth lightweight premium 1 piece ash Precision Style body perfectly finished in by Warmoth in Mary Kaye White. I also installed a Fender American Vintage Precision Bass Pickguard, American Vintage Pickup Cover, Bridge Cover, Vintage Bridge, and American Vintage Tuners. The pickups are Lindy Fralin. The bass includes RS pots and capacitor with clothe covered wire and brass shielding.

I also used a Warmoth Flamed Maple 1.5 inch Jazz Style Bass neck with premium rosewood fretboard, Corian nut, and stainless steel frets finished in hand rubbed vintage tinted Nitrocellulose Lacquer with a period correct vintage decal. The bass is strung with LaBella James Jamerson Flatwounds.

The bass is an extremely light 8 lbs 8 ozs. The neck is very fast neck with very low action, and perfect intonation. It sounds incredible and is a pleasure to play. When not being played, it is stored in a blonde tolex G & G vintage case.

I would compare this instrument in quality, fit, finish, tone, and playability to any factory built Custom Shop bass out there. Please keep up the good work and thanks you for your help and support with another great Warmoth project. J.P. Litch
Warmoth Birdseye/Birdseye Tele® style bass neck, P bass style body, EMG P set, and an aluminum diamond plate pickguard. Honestly, I didn't build it, I rescue her from the pawn shop, refined her and gave her the new PG. She then became my #1, replacing a much more expensive bass. Kevin Martin
My latest project is complete and is comprised of an Ash Precision Bass Style Body, with a Maple/Maple Jazz Bass Style neck compliments of Warmoth. I applied the Sienna Burst finish and ambered the neck before a durable, rock hard 2 part urethane gloss finish was sprayed on in multiple coats. This bass further has a Schaller 463 bridge, and a set of Fender Jazz Bass pickups I bought for $5.00 off Ebay. The thing has a killer growl and unique tone I've not heard from a Precision Bass. Thanks Warmoth for all the help! Kevin Martin
I like the classic P Bass® style basses and wanted to model one after the walnut toned ones of the 70's. So an order was placed for a solid walnut Precision Bass body. The Poly clear brought the grain to life. Sounds great too! John Rogstad
Thought I would let you see how my 1988 PBass® style guiater was doing. It's a swamp Ash body, maple neck, dual 1/4lb Seymore Duncan pickup, starting to get vintage mojo, machine! It was my 1st but not my last. Best regards, John Glenn Gera
Swamp ash P body with a P/J config.Stack knobs and a Daphne Blue nitro paint job. Kevin Martin
This is my second bass project that I've built from the ground up. This started with a Warmoth Maple Precision Bass body. Guitar sports a MightyMite neck. All other parts are a mix of genuine Fender and MM parts. I was very happy with the maple body. Nicely produced and both the body and neck came to life after a good urethane coating. Fretboard received the same treatment ala Rickenbacker. Great tone and sound from this bass. I will be back for more projects. Thanks Warmoth! Chip Homer
Inca silver PBass® style body in Alder. I went with the 13 degree angled neck in the V shape old school 'Grabber' style and it looks great. Rose/Maple, fretless, no lines. Badass II Bridge. Dimarzo Split-P pickup very quiet and clean... highly recomended. The showstopper is the custom silver paisley pickguard, it is fine as wine. Set up by Peter Stokes of Broken Neck Guitar in Boston and he did an A+ job. Finish off with some nice flatwounds and it's perfect. Edu Roca
Hello Warmoth. Here is the PBass I built with parts purchased in your store. It is a fine PBass from 2005. It features an adler body I got off the showcase in Warmoth Vintage White and a Standard PBass maple neck with rosewood fretboard. The pickguard is Tortoise. I aimed at that classic Dee Dee Ramone look and I think it looks great! It also features Schaller tuners, a Gotoh bridge and Bass Lines pickups Hot for PBass SPB2.

I normally use a Gibson Thunderbird and use this one as backup, but I have always been complimented for the definition and brightness of the sound of this Warmoth bass. It really has a nice sound projection! Doug Doss
This is my 7th Warmoth Bass! I ordered this body from your showcase, very light swamp ash with wild maple top with a Caribbean Burst finish. The tone is unbelievable. Lane poor neck pickup, Bartolini bridge, Lane Poor 2x1 preamp. I also made a truss access cover out of quilt maple. The neck is maple with Pau Ferro board. I installed a Buzz Feiten nut as I have done on all my Basses and guitars. I will be building two more Basses and two Guitars in the next few months for a couple of customers, and I will be using Warmoth products! Thanks guys for such high quality! Ray Scannapieco
This was my first Warmoth project. The body was purchased used on Ebay in pretty bad shape, for $75.00. After completely stripping and sanding, I applied several coats of nitrocellulose lacquer in Artic White. The body was cleared, wet sanded, and rubbed out by hand.

The neck was purchased directly from Warmoth. It is a AAA Birdseye Maple neck with matching fretboard. It is gorgeous, the photo simply does not do it justice. The neck is a 20 fret jazz width with a Corian nut and Stainless frets. The neck was finished perfectly by Warmoth in a Vintage Tint and Clear Gloss finish.

The bass features Fender tuners, bridge, controls, hardware, and vintage gold anodized aluminum pickguard. Pickup is a Seymour Duncan Antiquity. Strings are La Bella, James Jamerson Flatwounds.

Over the years I have owned many high-end vintage and custom Precision basses. This one is at the top of the list!

I look forward to my next Warmoth project.
Ray Scannapieco Frank Gagliardi
A tribute to my hero Lee Sklar true to his Frankenstein bass. It is an alder body from warmoth with a Jazz Bass® style neck. The neck is fitted with mandolin frets, aged vintage style tuners and a hipshot Dtuner. The pickups are dual reverse order EMGP pickups in jazz positions.
with a musicman style control plate wired Vol-Vol-Tone. The bass sounds amazing. Like A blend of a Jazz/Precision/Rickenbacker.
Also has a BadAss II bridge.
Awesome work guys and thanks! I can't wait to show Lee at NAMM 2008! Ray Scannapieco
This bass was my second Warmoth project. The body is an Ash Warmoth 54 P Bass® replacement body finished at the factory in Mary Kaye White. The pickguard is a Warmoth in Pearl White. The neck is AAA Birdseye Maple with matching fretboard that I tinted and cleared in nitrocellulose lacquer and then rubbed out. Pickup is a Seymour Duncan Antiquity. Pots are Vintage P Bass. All hardware is Vintage Fender. The playability, sound, and beauty of this instrument surpasses all of my high end factory built custom basses! Your products are beyond first rate. In addition, you guys have been a huge help answering my many questions. Keep up the good work! thomas huang
swamp ash body, flame maple neck with ebony finger board. seymour duncan jazz style pickup, MEC preamp. Bill Keaveny
The body is alder, the neck birdseye maple with a beautiful ziricote fingerboard. Seymour-Duncan 1/4 pounder pickup and mainly Warmoth hardware. I certainly recommend the paint shop for solid finishes. This fiesta red is first class. Roy Sigsbey
Quilted Maple on Swamp Ash P-Bass body with J-Bass neck of unfinished Padouk with Ebony fingerboard. Neck and body by Warmoth. Gold hardware and active EMG pickups. Bill Keaveny
I have never seen an old style p bass in a left hand version so I built my own. Everything on it came from Warmoth except the 1/4 pounder pickup and the control plate which I had custom made from mirror plexiglass. The swamp ash body is very light compared to my other basses. The finish could best be described as rustic. travis burt
Here's my dinky P fretless. It features korina body and rosewood neck with rosewood fretboard. The guitar is engineered to be as simple as reasonable with one P-style pickup and one volume. The neck was glued to the body and that in conjunction with string thru body construction gives the guitar tremendous sustain to go along with the thunder warmth of the korina/rosewood combination. As usual, the body and neck were excellent. Assembled it's very solid feeling. The tone is excellent and is has the most sustain of anything I've played. Thanks for the great parts Warmoth.
Paul Hopgood
I had been searching unsuccessfully for a Rickenbacker 4003S8 8 string bass for so long I decided to make my own 8 string bass. As I was determined it would be strung as a Rickenbacker (with the octave strings on the bottom) I was overjoyed to discover Warmoth could make an 8 string neck with a full set of bass tuners (just like a Rickenbacker and unlike every other 8 string bass I've seen) which could be strung either way!

I added the Gotoh tuners and the Schaller bridge and then sourced a nice red sunburst solid maple body in the UK (thinking it would balance an 8 string neck without trouble). The pickup is a humbucking Dimarzio, the strings Rickenbacker (of course) and it sounds superb!

The neck is flawless and it couldn't have been easier to put together, many thanks to Warmoth.

Heath Nelson
here is my bass i built all with your parts. super light weight ash body at only 4 pounds, hand selected and painted in the vintage 1963 Sonic Blue color by you guys. the neck is a qaurter sawn maple with rosewood neck with the premade Corian nut, Hipshot Ultralite tuners and Stainless Steel tiny frets. The decal, satin neck finish with custom amber stain was done by me as my "first". Somehow it came out perfect with the help of Ebay (decal) and Stewart McDonald's supply. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan Bass Lines "Hot Vintage" pickup, the pickup plate is off a true '75 Fender, as well as the internals/wiring. Also are Strap locks for secure rock music playing as well as a vintage deluxe tweed case I keep it in. Thanks for everything,

Craig Slote
This is our first Warmoth Bass project for me and my son. We finished the body with Watco Danish oil and several coats of butchers wax.

I have wanted to build a fretless for 25 years when I was in music college. I've been playing bass for 35 years, and teach public school music for 23 years. Live on Long Island New York. Most of my bass's are P's and J's all customized.

The highlight of this instrument is the Warmoth G-4 body with a Koa top and Mahogany back combined with:

Thanks again Warmoth for making my dream come true. You guys are the best in the business!

Fourbasses4@optonline.net Matt Calder
This is an ash body, maple neck and fretless maple fingerboard. I have added string through and a badass II bass bridge (had to do that myself). Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups (don't like them, but they look cool.) I modeled it after a bass that Sting played with the Police while in Frejus France. Thanks Warmoth. I LOVE you guys. You all have my dream job. Keep up the fantastic work.

Paul N. Aceto
I was so completely satisfied with the Dinky P Arch top from Warmoth, I am planning my next bass with another Warmoth body and possibly neck. This one is a Dinky-P White Korina with a hand rubbed tongue oil finish. Beautiful. I get so many compliments on it that I am thoroughly impressed.

Chuck Fuller
I couldn?t be happier with this amazing bass! 1978 neck that has been converted to fretless with ebony line markers and the most beautiful, playable epoxy finish. Check HG Thor Guitar Lab on the net for his incredible work! Alder P-body, perfect Vintage White finish, w/b/w pickguard, Gotoh bridge? Rear cavity to house all the electronics with a matching w/b/w cover, all from Warmoth. White EMG P-J pickups with an EMG BQC-System for total control of volume, blend and EQ. Fantastic fretless WAH that just sings all night! Fretted Fender Jazz+ 5 string and a little 5-string Hohner Steinberger copy rounds out my gig gear... Gallien-Kruger 700RB2/15 combo amp

Matt Nutt
Just wanted to let you guys know how happy I am with youre products the swamp ash body was perfect as well as the cherry sunburst .i was very impressed with the tk 5 bridge. the birds eye maple neck is great in looks and feel also. I used a hand rubbed laquer to make it slick and fast. I used shaller bml lights too keep it from being to top heavy .i used semour duncan passive soap bars to get the sound I wanted.and hip shot retainers to keep the strings in place.

Thanks very much and I know we will be doing buisness agin,
Dr. Kassabian
Here is a photo of the Dinky bass that I built from parts that I bought from the Warmoth Thrift Shop (now called the Showcase) several years ago. I always liked the scaled-down look of the Dinky so when an alder body became available at a great price I scooped it and had a Mary Kay transparent White finish done. It sat in my closet for over a year until a rosewood neck with a pau ferro fingerboard came up. I topped off my bass with a pickguard that I designed of crushed copper pearl material and DiMarzio Ultra Jazz Pickups. It plays like a slick guitar.

Next, I'm going to build a 5-string fretless. The G-5 looks like a winner.
Peter Andersen
Here's a photo of my latest Warmoth bass. The body is a Dinky P made of koa that I ordered from the Showcase. I finished it with danish oil and installed a Gotoh bridge and Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups. The neck, also from the Showcase, is maple with a fretless ebony fingerboard and finished with Birchwood Casey Tru Oil. The neck pocket fit is excellent. The bass sounds great and feels very slick. My friend Bob calls it "the lingerie bass" because of the smoothness of the oil finish. It's also easy on the eyes, as you can see.

Ottawa, Ontario Randy Robertson
Hello,

I thought I would send along a picture of my beloved Warmoth bass. This is your Alder bass body mated to a maple-on-maple bass neck. It has a Gotoh string-through bridge, Gotoh tuners, a brass nut and EMG active P/J pickups. I sprayed the body and the headstock face with lacquer. This is without a doubt the finest sounding, easiest playing bass I have ever had my hands on. The action is low and uniform all along the neck, with no buzzes or rattles. It has loads of sustain and tone 'til Tuesday.

This is the bass of my dreams. It has everything I want in a bass, and Warmoth let me build it. I want to thank you all for making such a wonderful product.

Sincerely,

Allan Watson
White korina dinky bass body, Purple heart fretless neck. It also has Seymour Duncan pickups and bartolini active electronics and a Gotoh string thru bridge. This my regular gigging bass. It's one of the nicest playing basses I've played. Everything is top quality. I don't even use a backup, if I did I'd probably build a bass exactly the same. I did lose the Warmoth neck head sticker though.

June 2003 Tino Tedesco
The famous MusicMan sound at it's best; an incredible low end and sizzling highs thanks to the TK 5 string-through bridge and the special laminated maple/ebony neck! Looks funky...

Nov 2003 Artie Fields
This is the third bass guitar I have built, and my first Warmoth. I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the Warmoth woods. It literally took my breath away when I opened the box with the unfinished body in it. I couldn't wait to get started on it.

Gabor Benk?
Hallo Everybody!

This is an older project of mine. I didn't had a bass for homerecording, so I builded one for me. The body has a three colour sunburst finish, Spector pick up 3D Goeldo bridge and active control for treble and bass from Goeldo. As I had the neck refretted, was the fretwire (6100) not enough. So I fretted only till to 12th position. From the 12th to 21 I filled the fretboard with wooden paste. So, I have from both world enything. Thank?s Everybody for this bass.
Kase J. Saylor
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you that the bass I received from your company is the most amazing bass I've ever owned or played (and I have played Ken Smith, Fodera, Zon, Warwick, etc.). The craftsmanship is outstanding and the tone and playability is out of this world. I'll probably never buy an "off-the-shelf" instrument again. I am one completely happy customer.

Dave Edwards
This is my Warmoth Bass which I finished in PPG Dodge Viper blue, with matching headstock. It looks stunning, even against the background block of flamed maple! It is equipped with a swamp ash body, Showcase maple neck with rosewood board, and Dimarzio 'vintage' pickups. The Schaller b-m tuners, Gotoh bridge, pickguard and knobs were also obtained at Warmoth. Being left handed, its torture sometimes to see all the great basses out there...all right handed! Now, you can have just about anything you want, if you're hip to the high quality parts available at Warmoth. This bass has a great tone, as good as any bass I've played, and plays great! Thanks Ken!

David
Here are two basses I built from Warmoth components. One is an alder body/maple-rosewood neck, and the other is swamp ash/maple/maple neck. Both have a traditional bass bodies with necks, and passive pickups. I installed smaller kluson tuners (just a little wood putty in the neck holes) and vintage bridges to keep the weight down for stage work, and they both play brilliantly! I get nothing but compliments at every gig for the way they look and sound - thanks Warmoth! PS: I am moving to Washington soon, and I next hope to build a Warmoth.

James Goodman
This is my first Warmoth Project bass. It is a swamp ash bass body with a maple/rosewood P-bass neck. It is fitted with a Gotoh 206 bridge, Schaller BML tuners, and Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound P+J pickups. I finished the body in a classic nitrocellulose based metallic called Inca Silver and used a satin wipe-on polyurethane for the neck. I can't say enough about the quality of the Warmoth parts. I have played this bass several times at my church gig and I'm very happy with the results. Thanks for a great bass! Mike Cunningham
I'm really proud of this thing. It's a '78 Maple Fender neck attached to a Warmoth Walnut body. Pickups are Seymour Duncan quarter pounders. It really turned out well. Not wanting to do a lot of spraying, I decided to give this one a hand rub oil finish. It's got about 8 or 9 coats of tung oil on it, followed up by sanding with 0000 steel wool after each coat, then another 8 or 9 coats of polyurethane. I couldn't be happier. Thanks again.

Russell Eng
This is my favorite bass, a fretless converted neck (long story below) on a Warmoth alder Bass body in Inca Silver metallic that I hand-selected for light weight and color at the factory in June 1999. The Warmoth body dramatically changed the look, feel (especially shoulder/back), and sound that I was accustomed to before the conversion. The neck was not always as beautiful. Shortly after I bought a used heavy ash '78 bass in 1993, trading in a Peavey Fury Bass I bought new a few months earlier, I got the crazy urge to play fretless. Pulling the frets off the maple fretted neck was fairly easy, but irreversible! I sanded off the varnish and the wood putty filling the fret slots. The Twelfth Fret (Portland, OR) saved the neck by professionally leveling it (the best $75 I ever spent). I finished the leveled maple neck myself with about seven coats of hand-applied water-based clear glossy Varathane, sanding with 1500 grit sandpaper between each quick-drying coat. I played and enjoyed this until I started wearing out the finish and maple fretboard. I was able to temporarily fill the worn spots with super glue and sanding off most of it. The Twelfth Fret saved the neck again (it cost me!) by adding the ebony fretboard, new nut, adding side dots in the correct positions, while removing and filling the old side dots with maple plugs, and refinishing the back of the neck with nitrocellulose varnish. The maple wood grain even now shows the subtle flaming that I never noticed with the stock "thick-skin" clear neck finish. Wrapping up, here are more details: Pickups are Seymour Duncan Vintage P-Bass. Other parts are Fender including the 4-ply White Pearl pickguard, volume and tone pots and knobs, and nickel-plated vintage bridge. The input jack is Switchcraft. There is a lot of ugly aluminum foil taped and glued in the control cavity, pickup cavity, and backside of the pickguard. All solder joints are with 4% silver. The strings are GHS medium-light Pressure-wounds.

Steve S.
This is my Warmoth fretless. It's a swamp ash body, and rosewood fingerboard. It has EMG PJ's with Bass, treble, and sweepable mids. I usually dont like EMG's, but on a fretless, they give it a great growl. But you have to have the mid boost. I never dreamed it would have come out this good. I can't find anything on the market today that is better. It was assembeled by Glade Rasmussen in Ventura, California.
