This was my first build, having done woodworking for a long time and having drawn up designs for guitars, one day I decided to order the parts and make it happen. I ordered a basswood pre-routed Warmoth Explorer bass body and reshaped it a bit better, adding a much deeper cutaway for my bigger hands with a little taste of an Iceman horn as well. Added an upper bevel for added comfort, as well as some cool looks, and the most striking feature on the body is the 'handle' at the back. I spent such a long time carving that out to my hand, giving it an almost Ibanez Xyphos look as well. Its only equipped with one knob and an output jack, but its well grounded and shielded inside- so much so, that it doesn't hum!
I sprayed the finish on and then distressed it, throughout the body, neck, and headstock to replicate having resprayed clear over a worn down paint job, and I'm really happy with the results there as well. The sound is nice and deep, almost over-driven, thanks to the setup... I've turned plenty of heads with this baby, both in how well it plays and how unusual- all thanks to Warmoth for the supplies!!! Tim Smyser
This is an update to my previously listed Koa G5 Bass. Pickups were recently changed to Bardens. This is what I originally had in mind, but 5-string Bardens weren’t available a the time.
This bass features a much recontoured G5 Hawai’ian Koa wood body to fit me like a glove with a curly Koa top, Wenge neck, Ziricote fret board, Hipshot short-shaft tuners, TK bridge, Ivory nut, Barden pickups with Hawai’ian Milo wood surrounds, and a 5-way Switchcraft switch. 500K Bourns pots were used for Master Volume & Tone with a 300K CTS for the Blender allowing 11 totally different sounds. A Mallory Volume Kit and Hovland Musicap were installed, and wiring was all NASA grade silvered copper. Finish is ultra-thin Nitro. There is no finish on the neck and fret board, just oil. My luthier, Larry Smoak at Wooden Wizard Guitars (http://www.woodenwizardguitars.com/index.html) fabricated the Pau shell TRC. He is also a machinist and set the neck with machine screws & inserts as well as machining a brass input jack cup. The pickups were also set in with machine screws and inserts.

It is incredibly alive and vibrant, slick, fast, and solid with tone and sustain to die for. Even unplugged, it resonates in your bones. Of special note are the two pieces of Koa used for the head stock and the control cavity cover from a block gifted to me by an old Hawai’ian woodworker named Cap years ago.

My special thanks to Dan Allen for putting up with months of questions and helping me with wood suggestions. As a guitar AND bass player like me, his input proved extremely valuable. The neck and body couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. Warmoth was supportive every step of the way.
Also, have a look at my just finished Koa Telecaster! Life is good.

Honey Burst Body and vintage tint neck

The Bass has a sweet, warm yet hi fi sound, the EQ is smooth and can get RAD !!!! I like to run both pups and no EQ.... I play through a GK rig and I find I don't need much, if any EQ on the amp.

It records straight to the board (DI) so fine.......

p.s. I like the MM pup in the MM "sweet spot".... every once and a while I'll use it by it's self and get all growly and rockin'.... just for S+Gs Mark Morrow
My first Warmoth project - I was irrationally exuberant about the final result! Explorer ash body and V neck with ebony board. Matching surf green finishes on body and headstock. Custom-designed check pickguard. Bartolini pickups and 3-band active electronics with switches for parallel/series/single coil on each pickup and midrange frequency selector. Black Gotoh tuners and bridge. Recessed strap locks, including alternative placement at top of neck pocket for perfect balance. Mark Behme
"Surgical Procedure" is the reverse of "Little Wing". The knobs are ergonomically located on the back for the player to roll the volume and/or tone up or down with a roll of the thumb. Hand carved Purpleheart body with Warmoth custom Paduak neck with a Purpleheart fretboard and gold frets. Pieter Smits
This Z5 bass has a swamp-ash body in gold sparkle with a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The back of the neck is vintage tint gloss with matching peghead with the body.
Electronics are Bartolini MM + J with the MM closer to the bridge than standard. This gives a nice 70's growl. Electronics are simple: volume-volume-tone with push-pull for series-parallel of the humbucker. Mark Behme
4-string bass with a Kahler whammi. This was my first guitar build, it took approximately 6 months to complete. This Bass Guitar is a Tribute to Tom Bogert of the group Vanilla Fudge, it was model after the Bass Guitar Tim Bogert used on the Ed Sullivan Show on Jan. 14, 1968 when asked about the the Bass Tim said and I quote "Hi Jim, yes I made the bass out of a Tele guitar body and a bass neck, they matched up easily. Sincerely Tim" Anders Gunnarsson
This is my first project (it won't be the last one!). The body is a R.M. Mottola design built of swedish "Björk" wood, which is medium hard wood. The neck is a custom ordered Warmoth fretless neck. It is maple/ebony with dots on the side. The head is my own design (neck ordered as a paddle neck) to match the body design. I made the nut from stabilized giraff bone. It is hard and black and therefore matched the neck perfectly. The tuning is done with GB7's (black of course) and the bridge is single string-type to get the narrow style I wanted.
The pickup is an active Twin Jazz pickup from MEC. There are just two volume controls and a passive tone control to get a clean output.
I am very happy with my project. The neck is awesome, both in finish and tone, thanks Warmoth! I use the bass to play jazz and solo parts. It has very distinct an yet warm sound. The strings are Elexir with their special coating which works good with a fretless neck.
/Anders Gson - Sweden Carlos Lorenzo
A G4 with an incredible quilted maple top on alder I made for our band's drummer. Rosewood laminate on the headstock, Gotoh bridge and SD alnico pickup with passive electronics. Great tone and probably the most comfortable bass I've ever played. Carlos Lorenzo
G5 with unbelievable quilted maple top on alder, flamed maple neck with lined fretless macassar ebony fingerboard, vintage tint finish, SD Steve Bailey pickups and active pre, TK5 bridge. I just got her, a Fender looking Humbucker sounding Bass. Love it at half the price of a MusicMan. And still looks like a Fender. I am very happy. Mike Ehrenzeller
For this bass I used African Mahogany for the body and a Gecko 35" scale neck made with Bubinga with a Satine (bloodwood) fretboard. I used Bartolinis version of an Stingray pickup with an active preamp. Trust me when I say the picture doesn't do this guitar justice. I've been told this thing smokes a Musicman which I was trying to emulate to somewhat. This Hotrod truly growls. I completely made the body and assembled all of the components but the neck is all Warmoth. What can I say, they make the best. The Bass is string through the body and sounds tight, clear and focused with just the right amount of swamp ash pop. I still experimenting with strings but what a great Bass !
'Vid Sutton
I built this "Fenderbird" project while trying to retain classic Fender appointments like three color sunburst, tortise pickguard, '51 P pickup (Rio Grande) and single vol and tone controls. The body is an awesome Warmoth ONE PIECE swamp ash T-bird with an old Valley Arts Guitar Jazz style neck. I can't wait to build the 6 string guitar counterpart, a Warmoth Firebird body with 3 color burst, Warmoth Strat® style neck, a single P-90 and a hardtail bridge. Robert Worthington
This is my first Warmoth build, but certainly not my last. It's so hard to get exactly what you want with production basses, but I got exactly what I wanted from Warmoth. Special thanks to Brian for putting up with me. I still can't believe the way it sounds! It turned out perfect in every way and was well worth the $$ and the wait. Great job Warmoth! Doug Doss
Just Finished this one! Alder G body flame maple top, Warmoth Hipshot single bridge, Lane Poor Jazz Pickups, LP 2x1 preamp. Pictures can't capture the beauty or tone of this Bass! Great job Guys, Special thanks to Matt Friedman at Acacia Basses for the pickups and preamp. The neck is made of maple with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and stainless steel frets and has the burl maple laminate on a Warmoth headstock. The neck and body both finished with a clear gloss. Pickups are currently passive Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders, but active EMGs will be fitted when they arrive. It has an Audere preamp with 4 way EQ powered by 18 volts.
Warmoth’s workmanship is simply outstanding, and the bass sounds and plays superbly. I couldn’t be happier with it. In fact, I’m now budgeting/planning for a matching fretless. Steven Greenbaum
Custom Bass using a unique custom design created by myself. Additional help from my son's CAD drawings. All electronics custom selected EMG pickups. All hardware custom selected and supplied by Warmoth except bridge. Custom neck by Warmoth. Gregory Seay
This bass was my third Warmoth project. It was built in 1997. I toiled over the design for months editing and reediting until I finally decided my concept was never going to dramatically change. I wanted a nonstandard design that remained functional. As you can see it isn't radical but omitting a top horn was different enough. When I received the body there was a note from the tech that built it that read something like, 'There may be a balance issue with this body not having a top horn'. I realized the issue at the design phase but figured I'd deal with it. It turned out that indeed the bass is quite unbalanced but it sounds so amazing and is so much fun to play that I really don't care. Originally it had a maple/ebony fretless neck that I switched out with the maple/ebony fretted one pictured here. The body is alder with a zebrawood top. I liked the fretted neck so much that the fretess one went on another bass I built for one of my students. After the parts had shipped, I suddenly realized upon opening the box that I had forgotten to draw in the pickup hole dimensions on the submitted design! Needless to say I learned a lot on this project and I encourage anyone who is thinking of building, put your guitar together yourself. It will truly make you one with your instrument. Steve Nowak
Warmoth G4 body in Walnut, jstyle 4str. fretless neck with Warmoth headstock Pau Ferro over Bubinga. Seymour Duncan, Steve Bailey fundamental fretless 2 band pickups. Laminate Flamed Maple top on a Mahogany Thunderbird style body. The neck is a 5 string type neck with no fret inlays. I had a special ostrich and sea snake strap made for it Shane Gill
I set out to create my own bass inspired by John Entwistle's Exploiter/Spyder basses, and with Warmoth's help, it's a reality!
I used a walnut Explorer body, routed the corners off to a subtle bevel, and 13degree angled Vpeghead neck in maple with ebony fretboard.
Thank you Warmoth, especially for the beautiful neck..amazing work! Bob Iglody
I built this bass for my daughter, for her birthday, to her style and color specs. Built from a Warmoth alder body blank. The neck is a Warmoth
purpleheart/purpleheart. Pickguard was made by me and has EMG pickups. Painted by me. O.J Malm
Maple G4 body and maple neck with an incredible rosewood fingerboard, Solid Black finish, Schaller 463 bridge and Gotoh GB7 tuners, EMG 35DC pickups and BTC system tone and volume control. The sound is very even when played over either pickup when I have them both on! Thanks Warmoth! Marty Meinerz
I bought this neck from Warmoth and it is as solid as a rock. I also bought the Alder body blank from Warmoth, and most of the hardware. The Gotoh bridges that they carry on this site are amazing. The pickup is a vintage Gibson Grabber Sliding Pickup from the early 70's that I bought off of Ebay.
This is my third bass from Warmoth, and I will never buy from anywhere else again. The service is awesome and the products are top notch. Billy Brock
Its called the JC bass. The body is tung oil finish. The body is swapash with 1 monster tone emg pick up. It is a cut away back, The design in the body are cat tail inlays, done with inlace. The neck is maple and ziricote, with a swapash peg head. my sons comment as a bass player and also my brothers as another bass player, we think the tone of the bass is better than a warwick, and most other makes and models. Much better being as my son plays of on a warwick, he told me he would be playing this one in the band more often. Also we would like to thank you all for the maple and ziricote neck it made our project come together. Tom Riggall
This is an 8 string Explorer bass, transparent green with gold hardware. The body's swamp ash and the neck's maple, all done by Warmoth with Duncan quarter pound mm and p pickups in there make it the best bass I've ever owned, thanks Warmoth. Nicholas Rahn
Warmoth fretless maple neck, with ebony fingerboard. Mounted to homemade maple and walnut semi-hollow body. Michael Waters
Warmoth Maple Body, Maple LP Neck with Ebony fingerboard with large Stainless Steel frets. Jure Lopatic
This bass is originally Washburn xb500, 5 string with ash body and maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. It's neck dimensions are quite similar with 8 string models, so I've decided to have it converted. Now it has Schaller 8 string bridge, new nut and tuners. So far the neck is stable and it sounds great. The electronics are stock Washburn active.

Warmoth support was great during the whole project, especially when dealing with overseas deliveries. Danieck Meere
The first prototype of our Zebulon Bass Guitar! We ordered a Warmoth J-Bass neck for this one and it met our standards perfectly. Thanks guys! Gary Davis
CUSTOM 5 STRING BOOTSY BASS. Rob Guethlein
Here's my pride and joy: a fretless 8string bass. A walnut G4 body with a beautiful clear gloss. The 8string neck, fretless with a purpleheart fingerboad. Gold hardware, and Fender Vintage Noiseless Jazz bass pickups. Two knobs, a pan and a master volume. The sound is amazing, kind of like a fretless piano. It looks prettier than my girlfriend before last, and always turns heads.

I was a bit intimidated by the idea of building my own at first, but I'm so glad I took the plunge. I have something truly unique, and truly my own. Dave Lufkin
Late 70's Dimarzio explorer with new Warmoth neck. Ty Murdock
This 8 string bass was a custom order from Warmoth Guitar Products. The body is a heavy Mahogany Contoured Custom Tele Bass with the standard Warmoth 5 piece Bubinga/Maple neck with Pau Ferro fretboard, Paua face dots, and custom headstock shape. The neck is secured to the body with a 6 bolt counter sink pattern and has the double battery box for 18 volt wiring of the electronics. The electronics are the EMG 35cs neck and 35tw (switchable from dual coil to J single coil) and has a volume for each pickup and the 3 band BQC control on two concentric pots. The bridge is the comfortable Schaller S471 and the tuners are Hipshot ultra lights with a graphite nut. The bass has been strung like the Rickenbacker 8 string with the standard string in front of the octave string. This allows you to play the fundamental string without hitting the octave string. The bass is beautiful and sounds even better! Thanks to all of the great people at Warmoth for their superb help to create a classic.

Chuchi
Hi Eric. this is my bass.maple body with ziricote top.gotoh tuners,ETS piezo bridge,Noll electronics and Delano pickup......and this incredible neck.

i'm really happy with it.thanks a lot for your work and help.see you next time

Andrew Craig
This is a bass i made with your guys help, its a mahogany body with a purpleheart top, as well as a wenge neck with an ebony fretboard. all that combned with the EMG MMTW active pickups makes this bass sound amazing. I was amazed at the quality of Warmoths parts, everything was much batter than i expected. Pretty much all the wood and hardwar was from Warmouth, although i did choose to do my own U.V. proof finish becasue the sun can turn this wood brown, and no-one wants that.

I definatly plan on making another bass soon, im never buying another bass, Warmoth is that good.
Karl Welty
Alder Z Body - Masked off center section then painted with trans red (rattle can). Mask removed then painted with trans purple (rattle can). Maple neck with rosewood fretboard, Warmoth Straight headstock. Hardware - BML tuners, Seymour Duncan pickups (J PU in bridge position and MM in center position). The volume and tone circuit uses dual concentric pots, a volume and tone for each PU. The electronics are wired in stereo for amplification to two different amps, and the mini switch changes operation from stereo to mono for use with a conventional single bass amp. I was after something which had the bite and attack of a 4001/4003 series instrument, and this combination comes very close to it.

Ryan Salampessy
I wanted to build an SG Bass with the Gibson look but with an EMG Sound.

Body: - Warmoth SG Bass Body (Alder)
Fretboard: - Rosewood
Inlay: - Mother Of Pearl Dots

It sounds amazing and warmoth did a great job with the quality and overall customer service. Thank you.

Wayne Zito
This is my latest project, a walnut Deluxe V with birdseye maple neck and an ebony fingerboard. No grain filler was used, and the body was dyed with a combination of pigments. The body and fingerboard were finished with Glasurit urethane. The Glasurit formula is expensive, but has good fill properties and produces a high gloss. The fumes are terrible, even with a vapor mask, so be careful if you use this stuff without an adequate exhaust system, and you particularly if you have asthma.. LIKE ME. However, it was worth it to breathe like a mustard gas victim for a few days. The pickups and preamp are Bartolini.

This neck set up perfectly, with no dips or high spots beyond the effective range of the truss rod. This is particularly important if you like to set your neck up with very little relief and low action as I do, for a uniform growl.

Thank you so much for the excuisitely crafted parts.

Robbie Rekless
I've always wanted a bass that sounded like a cross between an old Stingray and a Thunder-bird but really hot-rodded with some vintage look. And I've always been disappointed until I found Warmoth. They built me a monster of superior quality at less than half the price of what some other reputable shops were quoting. The body is one piece of Black Korina in the shape of a 'Tele with a great Black-Brown-Yellow burst paint job. It sounds like mahogany but with the presence turned up to "11" on it, and the figuring in the wood is just awe-inspiring.

The neck is a "J" bass style in quarter swan Eastern Rock Maple with an Ebony fret board (sans markers to emphasize the ebony color), with reverse headstock and stainless steel fret wire with a Corian nut. Together with the electronics Warmoth sold me at very competitive prices this bass is Big, Bad, and Beautiful.

I've been playing hard rock bass for many years and this is BY FAR the rudest, nastiest, thing I've ever heard. Thank you Bob, and thank you Warmoth

Smokey
Hey guys i'm one of the aussie fans of your site and i'm sending you a pick of my no name brand custom made leopard skin bass. I bought for $99 aussie dollars and it works just fine i got some book contact and stuck it on the bass so it looks like a leopard skin paint job.

Smokey
I while ago, I asked you about some information about a gecko neck, I couln't order it myself because I didn't have a creditcard. So my luthier ordered it for me.

The thing is: The bass is done and it turned out to be a very, very nice bass!

So now I would like the bass to be in the custom gallery whit the other gecko's.. So according to your website I had to email a description and picture of the bass to webmaster@Warmoth.com.. I did this a while ago but I didn't get any response.

So I thought I send you a email and maybe you can help me.. It doesn't matter that the description I emailed isn't posted on your site yet because there was some information in the description that wasn't right.. So now I send you the right description!

And thank you guys at warmoth for the most amazing neck I've ever seen.. Though it's a wide gecko 5 neck, it still play really comfortable, and I'm very pleased and very proud whit the final results of the bass!

Best regards

Stowel
This is the Bass we made with a Warmouth Bubinga neck. It has a curved top and back from Bubinga and is very heavy but sounds great. It has about ten coats of polyurethane as a finish. Seymour Duncan pickup and active electronics.
Jon Boone
Thanks for building an incredible neck for my current project bass. A gorgeous fretless wenge neck with a ziricote board to die for! I put it on a body of my own creation. Mahogany/Wenge/Bubinga with a bocote/wenge/bubinga top. An EMG single-coil in bridge position creates instant "Jaco" tone.

Thanks again,

David Butch
I finished this Eagle bass, my first Warmoth bass, last week. I am very satisfied with the result, although I may replace the neck with a Maple/Pau Ferrin neck for closer color match, then use this neck for a Maple body (maybe a Mockingbird?).

The components fit perfectly. The neck required less than one turn for adjustment, and the intonation took maybe ten minutes to get right. The bridge height adjustments took another five minutes. All in all, from start to finish, I may have spent 20 hours getting this bass ready. Once I got the action set, it's far faster than my regular bass.

I took it to a major Bass Guitar outlet, and the owner (who was curious about Warmoth Quality) was very impressed. His only advice was to raise the pickups (which took another ten minutes, and added more volume).

Russell Knoebel
Hey, this is my Fenderbird bass this bass is beautiful with the walnut body and a natural finish rubbed in It is Heavy as hell but it is worth it for the HUGE sound you get with it It came out perfect and i plan on makeing another exactly the same as a back up for shows

Shane Green
HEY GUYS LOOK WHAT I DID WITH YOUR NECK. THE BODY IS PADAUK WITH PURPLEHEART AND JATOBA STRIPES AND BLACK WALNUT WINGS. THE NECK PICKUP BEZEL IS MADE OF PANGA PANGA. WE HAVE A BRIDGE BASSLINES MM AND A NECK RIO GRANDE POWERBUCKER. I ALSO LEARNED JUST HOW TOXIC PADUAK DUST IS.
Paul Levesque
Check out my new bass! The warmoth body and neck feels and sounds great!

Thanks again.

Martin Beck
Playing in a Who Tribute band, I just had to have the right bass. I came up with this idea to simulate the Exploiter bass John Entwistle used in the mid to late 1970's. The body has a Quilt Maple top over Mahogany, with mirror imaged Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder P-bass pickups and a gold Hipshot 4-string tremolo. The neck is Palisander Rosewood with a Wenge fingerboard and 24-fret extension, 13-degree

Quilt Maple veneered headstock, stainless steel jumbo frets and gold Gotoh tuners. The quality of these Warmoth parts is absolutely superb! The bass plays amazing, has the perfect sound and un-paralleled sustain!!

Thanks Warmoth!

Thanks alot this bass is fantastic! Baris Kiratli
Hi everybody,

This is a lefty bass player from Turkey. About 2 years ago I bought 6 string Yamaha JP model right handed bass. I asked to Yamaha, possibilty of making a lefty body. They even not answered me. After that I ordered a lefty body to warmoth with the same combination. I have been very happy to own this bass. And sounds much better than original. Now I send a photo of my bass. And thank you very much for everything.

Best Regards.

Dan D
I completed this bass in late spring of this year. It is a custom body design. The body is solid one-piece black walnut with EMG P-J pickups and a Badass II bass bridge.

The neck is a Warmoth neck, maple with an ebony fretboard, and no front inlays, to maximize the amount of beautiful ebony showing.

This is my first build, and it has proven addictive.

Thanks, Warmoth, for the great neck!

Gerry
This is Thurmond.

The body is Koa with maple sringers, sprayed clear satin. All parts were ordered from Warmoth except the neck which is of unknown origin and the bridge, which is from Hipshot. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Jazz with a single volume. I love the tone from this thing, a huge low end, but still very articulate.

This is my first homebuilt project and I am more than happy with the result.

Fraz
Hi Guys,

This is my Warmoth Thunderbird. It's Swamp Ash, with the most amazing wenge/ziracote neck. It's my third Warmoth bass. I am so excited about your stuff, when you come to Ocala, Lunch is 'on me!

Keep up the great work Warmoth!

Matt Aston
All the parts warmoth sent to me were top quality. I'm very pleased with the end result.

Thanks very much!

Justin Weber
My name is Justin Weber, and I am from Brookeville, Maryland. This is my first build and trust me, it will not be the last since I am only 18. I got all the parts from warmoth, except for the pickups wich are EMG-PJs. The body is a maple Eagle, and the neck is Warmoth maple with a rosewood fretboard. The bridge is a Schaller 463. I stained the body green. This bass has an amazing sound to it, as well as amazing harmonics. Thank you Warmoth!

I am looking forward to building more basses in the future.
Dustin Peterson
This isn't my first bass, but my first experience building one from Warmoth. It's a 5 string Deluxe with the Basslines music man pickup and preamp. The body is all walnut, which helps it look and sound great. The neck is bocote (bought off the Showcase), and didn't need to be oiled and it plays really fast. It's also heavy but it helps it sound great, and the fretboard is ebony. The pickup is wired in parallel for more treble (taking away bass), but there's plenty of bass to add with the preamp, and it sounds great for any style of music. With the solid neck it's easy to get a slap sound, and lots of sustain, without fretbuzz. I found graphite necks not as stable as this one, and I'm eventually going to replace my other bass with a Warmoth neck. My next bass will most likely be a Warmoth, because they sound and play great, and I'll still have cash after buying it.

Mike
Here is the greatest bass guitar that I have ever played, with much thanks to Warmoth. Instead of pulling my hair out looking at Jackson custom shop prices, I found some great parts and did myself a great Explorer. It even has 5-strings, which more or less is all that I play. It has a fat sound with all the wood in the body, the neck is fat and silky, just how I like it. All the hardware is in immaculate shape after a year and a half of musical abuse. It is so great, my cat even likes it.

This is my first Warmoth project guitar. I found the Warmoth body on Ebay a few months ago. It came with the Bartolini Bass pickups and most of the hardware. I picked up a Warmoth P-Bass neck on Ebay also. The Strat neck I bought from Warmoth new, along with the Kluson tuners and bone nut for it, along with a few other hardware items. The body, swamp ash, was unfinished, so I gave it 3 coats of Tung oil and finished it off with 3 coats of polyurethane. I had a set of Gibson 490's lying around the house that I wasn't using, so I installed them into the guitar side. In order to save space I used the stacked pots, 2 for each neck. I wired the necks so that they could both be active at the same time using a Gibson 3 way selector switch. The necks, of course, each have their own output jack. The guitar side of this axe really cranks while the bass has a real sweet tone. If I ever feel the urge to build another axe, Warmoth's going to get my business!

Jesse Salucci
This bass is a reshaped standard J-Bass 5 alder body that I put a lacewood top, back inlays and electronics cavity cover into. The neck was a 5 string "paddle-head" that I also shaped and capped with lacewood. Throw in a set of EMG's, a Schaller Rollerbridge, and Hipshot Ultralite tuners and there ya have it...I bass I'll love to play for years thanks to Warmoth!
