This isn't really a humbucker............. is it?
I love this pickup. I bought it to put in an old Ibanez Roadstar with a PJ pickup configuration. I also have a Quarter Pounder for P in that bass. This hot stack does a really nice job of keeping some of that single coil tone while staying noise free. I like a warmer tone and the ability to really drive the pre stage in my amp so the overwound coils are perfect for the sound I like. Spike was very helpful and accommodating throughout the ordering process too.
