Routed to accommodate both the big Fender humbucker and the Gibson humbucker in the bridge and neck positions.
The original Thinline body was introduced in 1969 and was outfitted with traditional Tele® pickups. In 1972 Fender introduced a new
version of the Thinline and incorporated the huge chrome Fender humbucking pickups and a Strat® flatmount bridge. These bodies also
came with the newly introduced 3-bolt heel joint. Other than the fact that the Warmoth body comes standard with a 4 bolt heel, ours
is a very close copy of the original. If you want the 3-bolt heel, we can offer this as well for $15.00 extra. Our original Thinline
body is hollow on the control side whereas the '72 version is solid on the control side. If you're looking for the lighter of the two,
select the original Thinline version. Bridge holes are drilled for a Strat® flatmount. Should you desire, we can rout this body for a tremolo.
3-Bolt Micro Tilt Pocket Option
3-Bolt compatible pockets are available. We drill and rout for all the screws and round plate. - Available for Strat® or Tele® neck pockets. (Strat® neck pocket shown above).
- Yes, we can do 3 bolt necks.
- No, we don't have the 3-bolt hardware.
This custom feature option is $15 extra.
