As with the standard Jazzmaster®, this sideways, elongated body shape was an early Fender® excursion into more comfortable ergonomics. While retaining the vintage perimeter shape, we have altered the top rout to accommodate a new Split Pickguard design to give a fresh new look to a vintage favorite! The Split Jazzmaster® guitar body will also accommodate most of the bridge routs and pickup routing options we offer!

  • 25-1/2" scale length
  • 1-3/4" Thick Solid Construction
  • Deep contours front and back
  • Top routed only

Note: This body is meant for use with the Warmoth Split Jazzmaster® Pickguards. Standard Jazzmaster® pickguards or other brand pickguards will not retrofit to this body.

Contoured Heel Option

The Contoured heel option shaves about a quarter-inch off the thickness of the heel and sculpts the lower horn for improved hand access. It is much more comfortable to play high on the neck with this feature!

  • Uses the standard 4-bolt neck plate
  • Requires the Contoured Heel screw set that includes two shorter screws. (Sold separately)

Please add $35.00 to the body price for the Contoured Heel option

WARNING! Using screws that are too long means they could exit through your fingerboard!

Strat® Top Jack Rout Option

If you would rather not use one of the holes in the pickguard for an input jack, then a Strat® Top Jack Rout is a great looking alternative. This is the same rout used for our Strat® bodies and uses the same Strat® jack plate.

There is no charge for this option.

  • Warmoth's production managers have discretion to choose the way the laminated top is oriented on the body wood for the best appearance and structural integrity.
  • If while in production the product is found to be substandard, we will not be able to continue with the piece you have chosen.
  • The charge for selecting a one-of-a-kind laminated top is non-refundable for order returns, changes, or cancellations.
