Chambered Strat®
Guitar Replacement Bodies

For years we heard the cry for lighter weight bodies — here it is! Our uniquely engineered cavities allow the body to remain very stiff while affording a minimum 25% weight reduction! This body is fully sculpted, exactly the same as a solid Strat®.

Alder or Swamp Ash under 3 Lbs.

Mahogany under 4 Lbs.

Stratocaster®
Walnut on Mahogany
Stratocaster®
Quilted Maple on Mahogany
These bodies are very resonant, they even feel alive when plucked. Sustain is improved over their solid body counterparts and feedback isn't even an issue. Tone wise: Alder, Ash, and Mahogany each maintain their traditional wood/tone coloration but it's more open, full, fat, and chunky. Choose the body core material for your "wood tone" preference then choose the face or top wood for the look you prefer. Whether you're simply looking for less weight or exciting tone, you won't be disappointed.

Our "In Stock Showcase" has thousands of custom bodies and necks ready for purchase! It is the largest inventory of its kind on the internet and the quickest way to get the part you need! Simply click on the image above to view this category’s items waiting for you!

If you cannot find what you desire in our "In Stock Showcase" section, we would be very happy to simply build it for you! Depending on your exact specifications, most items from this category only take about 2 to 3 weeks for us to make! Having it your way is what "custom" is all about and our skilled craftsmen are second to none!

Chambered Strat® Guitar Replacement Bodies
Rear Rout Option

When beautiful woods are used on a body it is often desirable to cut the control cavity from the back. This way there is no need to cover the beautiful face wood with a plastic pickguard. We call this "Rear Routing" and it allows maximum exposure of the face wood.

This cavity allows positioning of the 3-way switch and pot holes. Cavity depth is 1-1/2" leaving a face thickness of 1/4" except in the area of the switch where the thickness is only .090".

There is no extra charge to have any or all the control holes cut in their standard positions. Also notice that there is a recess for the pickup selector switch inside the control cavity in the back.

All rear routed bodies are supplied with a recessed cover plate and mounting screws.
