A little unconventional? Yeh, a bolt on LPS wins no vintage contest but, hey… it works! Hand access is actually easier than on the glue-in's. There is less bulk in our joint. Sustain? you bet! Fat thick tone? of course! The dimensions, thickness, carved top shape, etc. are all duplicates of the original design.

We've used a larger rout to accommodate both conventional LPS controls and a Strat® configuration as well. The 5-way switch is real handy for more than two pickups. The cavity is routed 3-D so that all the controls exit the front of the body perpendicular to the carved face. Choose only the holes you want, we can omit what you don't.

Supplied with cover plates and screws.

  • The grain pattern and color will change as the laminated top is sanded and finished. You should expect some variation in appearance from the picture shown.
  • Warmoth's production managers have discretion to choose the way the laminated top is oriented on the body wood for the best appearance and structural integrity.
  • If while in production the product is found to be substandard, we will not be able to continue with the piece you have chosen.
  • The charge for selecting a one-of-a-kind laminated top is non-refundable for order returns, changes, or cancellations.
