This box holds two 9 volt batteries. Made by Gotoh, the box is made of sturdy black plastic. These battery boxes offer a convenient alternative to trying to fit your batteries in your guitar's control cavity or under a pickguard. The container is attached by screws to the guitar body. Mounting screws are included.

2 pair of 12" long Black and Red lead wires

On a new Warmoth body, we can do the rout for the Single or Double Battery Box for just $15.

Double Battery Box
Poorly made, difficult to operate and the body cut out for box depth done by Warmoth is too tight. If I could change to an alternate type I would but I am stuck with buying a replacement as it has just failed.

Another usage for this box!
I actually used this box installed in the side of my guitar rack rig. I hooked the leads up to tucked away battery chargers inside the rack. At the end of my show at night, I would simply insert my rechargeable batteries and they'd be all charged up for the show the next night! Clean and slick as a rack rig should be!

Double Battery Box
I custom built my bass via parts from Warmoth. The parts were top notch but I encountered a few problems. The main one was this battery box. The copper plating isnt secured very well(I have to order another one due to malfunction with my last one) If the battery has any swell it may lead to breaking the copper part out of order. I took my bass into a local repairman thinking it was something else but he told me out of all the Warmoth instruments he has constructed he said he has always had problems with this piece. So here's what I have to say. It is a good product but please be careful with it so you don't have to replace it like I do.
