This pickup is amazing. This is a medium output humbucker, and works very well running through high gain amps. I have not played it through any other amps, but it really lets my Mesa Triple Rectifier flourish. My guitar is an alder body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard, and a floyd rose. In my opinion it has a neutral sound, so what you hear is all amp. It can be warm, crunchy, smooth, whatever. a great pickup for anything, really.
