This is the same celluloid material we use for our pickguards but it is also suitable for all manner of projects where laminates are used; ie name plates, covers, etc.
I have owned 2 tortoise Warmoth pickguards and in my opinion, it is the best-looking (brown) tortoise blank you can get.
